In connection with Peter LeMarc's 65th birthday, tickets were released for a tribute evening in his honor at Cirkus. Friends, colleagues, and a new generation of pop stars wanted to thank LeMarc for his music and inspiration in this way. Tickets sold out in 1 minute and 20 seconds. Due to overwhelming demand and to meet the high interest, the concert was moved to Tele2 Arena, where an intimate concert stage will be created.

On stage: Moonica Mac, Thomas Stenström, Oskar Linnros, Tomas Andersson Wij, Iiris Viljanen, Mauro Scocco, Jonathan Johansson, Lisa Nilsson, Ana Diaz, Peter Jöback, and Plura. The artists will be backed by a six-member band led by Stefan Olsson.

During the 80s and 90s, Peter LeMarc was one of Sweden's biggest and most beloved artists. He was constantly heard on the radio, sold platinum copies of his records, embarked on acclaimed tours, and was often hired as a songwriter for other artists. In 2014, he gave a farewell concert on Skeppsholmen in Stockholm and has since retired. In 2023, he suffered a stroke.

"I knew that LeMarc is still a big, beloved artist, but I could never have imagined this pressure. People have been reaching out non-stop from all over the country since the tickets sold out. It feels very nice that we will probably be able to accommodate everyone now," says Tomas Andersson Wij, the initiator of the concert.
